Just got off the phone with Austin over at Augie's Coffee.  If you don't know them look em' up!  They make some of the best coffee around and invited us out for a rare inside look into their roastery. 

On the agenda will be a introduction of Augie's coffee, explanation on how they roast, a look at there brand new roaster, and a cupping.  All this for just $5!

We have the pleasure of doing a workshop with one of Long Beach's own Angie from Wide Eyes Open Palms. They're building out their new space and invited us over for a talk on Cold Brew. We thought it would be perfect timing because it's hot and we can get our learn on from a pro! 


Cost will be $6 online or $5 cash at the door. Space is limited so PLEASE only sign up if you're going to make it. We are stoked for this collaboration and hope to see all your beautiful faces!

In celebration we are throwing a party at Howl in Downtown Long Beach.

At the courtyard of Howl in Downtown Long Beach. 

Will there be a cool DJ? 
Um, yes there will be some cool DJs.

Will the party cost money to get in? 
No! We will have a coffee bar and other drinks for sale so bring cash. Also, free snacks will be provided. :)

Can I bring a friend? 
Sure.  As long as they're cool. ;)

Stimulate your senses through a one-of-a-kind lecture and coffee tasting with Dr. Steven Topik Professor of History at the University of California, Irvine. Venture into the world of a tiny seed that has shaped Latin America and inspired the work of major artists such as Brazilians Candido Portinari and Vik Muniz.

Dr. Topik will discuss how Latin America came to dominate the world of coffee and how coffee has affected Latin America. Guests will sample different varieties of coffee while local barista discusses the properties of each seed. See what's brewing in the world of Latin American coffee!
