Espresso and steamed milk, It’s the most unique element of cafes but what do we really know about it? The process is quite intensive requiring an espresso machine, a high-quality Grinder, and a great deal of preparation. In this workshop, we are going to walk you through the process on a classic Spring lever espresso machine. When you are finished with the workshop you will be able to talk shop with your favorite barista and know how much really goes into your favorite latte.
-Introduction to Espresso; the taste, the qualities, and challenges.
-Demonstration on the spring lever machine and explanation of how it works.
-Hands on experience making your own Gibraltar.
-This will be a free event. :) (donations for drinks will be greatly appreciated) This event will be hosted by the lovely Coppa Coffee Co and we will be pulling shots with their espresso and another local brand.
